  • GPC is Helping Puerto Rico

Georgia Psychiatric Consultants is partnering with the Puerto Rican Princess Foundation, which was founded rapper, producer, and reality television personality Joseline Hernandez to help provide aid to Puerto Rico after Hurricanes Irma and Maria.  She also wanted to address the issue of joblessness on the island so she reached out to someone who is passionate about providing good jobs to others.  Joseline contacted Buffie Purselle and asked her to become the director of the foundation. Buffie is a serial entrepreneur from Atlanta, Georgia. You may recognize Buffie as a finalist from CNBC’s business competition show, “The Partner”.  She is also the Vice President of Vapaus LLC,  a global contracting firm.

The PRP Foundation believes that the road to prosperity is possible, but one must first provide people with the tools to help themselves.  We hope to accomplish this through partnerships with other nonprofits and private industry.

If you would like to help, the PRP Foundation needs donations of money, but we also ask for your most valuable resource – your time. This may include volunteering on the ground, providing mentorship to Puerto Ricans looking to start a new business or learn a new skill, or offering in kind services in areas of need.
